“Horse...” is the first EP by UK-based electronic artist Mark Wayman under the banner of Medicine Lake. Made from a combination of carefully crafted field recordings and electronic instrumentation, the underlying themes are intended to instill a sense of discomfort and confusion. Dark textures are contrasted by deep sweeps, filtered growls and staccato distraction as we find ourselves guided towards a comforting light, but sometimes - inevitably - the darkness wins.
